"I bow to repay even the smallest debt of gratitude."

A lot of running around today, but it was satisfying. I got more clarity on the direction I am taking with this real estate investment, and got a chance to connect with lot of my friends today.


Life always works in a mysterious way, and I find the best way to navigate through is to prepare enough and go with the flow. Because I have put so much effort into taking this investment decision to one specific route, but I ended up in a totally different situation that will work out in the future now.


Just be grateful of every little things we go through in life, and focusing on the positives will help us navigate through life in the best way possible.

"I bow to live a righteous life."

If I have to describe today with one word, it will be "peaceful". I emphasized being peaceful and calm so much throughout the day. Gym after work was again, like a meditation. Plus the weather was warm today, so I decided to walk back home, and pick up dinner on the way. It is a Lunar New Year, and I must celebrate with eating tasty food.


Though, I quite enjoy being fit, which was accidentally achieved by stressful fasting in the past week, so I decided to go for another walk in the city after dinner.


Honestly, spending a day just sticking to a routine (completing small tasks that will benefit me in longevity) without putting too much thought into is very calming and even recharging. It may sound ironic, but I actually feel less tired when I spend energy completing tasks that I set out for my better future than when I spend energy watching videos mindlessly for hours.


In light of living a righteous life, I constantly tried to respect the pedestrian lights when I went for a walk. No pictures were taken during this walk, but I will keep trying to take a picture a day to go with the journals.

"I bow to make the best of each moment in my life."

Today was my first day fully back at the gym after I went on a stress leave. I forgot how therapeutic working out can be. It is a form of meditation in a sense that you are not thinking about anything else, but lifting the weight that is in front of you. I continued with my de-load phase, and it was easier transition being back at the gym. I am getting closer to going back to my life routine that was keeping me happy every day.


I am the most grateful of my supervisors today. During my quarterly performance review, they noticed that I had been distracted. After hearing what I am going through, they were understanding and willing to give out a hand.
