"I bow to not harm others in order to get ahead."

From yesterday's reflection, I tried to have more clarity and order in my life. Usually my life is in 80% order and 20% chaos, but lately it has felt like 99% chaos and 1% order.

First, I mapped out my housing plan. I will start staying at my own place starting next week, and be prepared to be somewhere else until 8pm to accommodate viewings. Then, if my place gets sold before my new house purchase is closed, I will stay in a short-term rentals. Once my new house is ready for move-in, I will stay there while it is being renovated.

Second, I planned out my exam schedule, so that I get that done before the home renovation kicks in.

Third and last, I maintain my 108 challenge. That 1% of order that kept me sane all these chaotic times was that routine. Without it I might not even be here right now. And it is working as it is ought to be. I wanted to come up with a routine that I could stick to for a lifetime, and I think I found one. So far, I am the most productive I have ever been. My relationship with family, friends, and loved ones are improving. And the best of all, I feel happy.

Last reflection today is that I love lifting weights. I know I have said this too many times, but it hit me again today. When I came out of the gym I felt accomplished, my mind was clear of thoughts, body was refreshingly sore (not a painful one), and I could not ask for anything more than that feeling of content and happiness in life.

"I bow to not be stingy to others."

I had a great chat with my friend today. It was only a quick catch-up, but the conversation got both of us motivated to keep pushing through obstacles in life. We realized that the stress I feel lately is almost all driven by the uncertainty in life. For instance, I do not know where I will be staying next week. I do not know how closing of the deal will go. I do not know how the renovation will turn out. I simply introduced A LOT of uncertainty in life in order to level up in life (although I feel like I introduced too much too fast). However, like I had been throughout my entire life, I will adapt and will become a better man after everything.

Since I need to be extremely mobile, I travel light and I currently do not 'own' many things. Despite the fact that I still have so many items sitting in a storage unit, I start to notice what are essential in my life. Many materialistic items do not belong in that category.

My final note to self is, now that we began to simplify our lives again, focus on passing the exam before the deal closes so we can focus 100% of our energy into exiting the investment after.

"I bow to not put my own needs over the needs of others."

For the first time, I read the prayer before I started my day. And it certainly had an effect on me. Someone had to cancel plan last minute with me. Me knowing what state she is in, I decided to not demand that she makes time for me (my own needs) versus letting her getting the rest she needs (needs of others).

I was being productive all morning, knowing that my evenings were booked to spend time with my friends. It was successful as I finished another chapter of the textbook for the exam I am about to take. I should be on schedule to finish by this month. That will free my mind up to focus back on the real estate in March and onwards.

To remind myself - Do less, but better.

Simplify your life and be more present in every moments.
