"I bow to be thankful for the hard times I have had, because they have made me strong."



I got blindsided by not checking my work calendar carefully today. I had planned to finish up cleaning in the kitchen, and to relax in the evening by reading a book and writing a journal. However, the work social event took away my entire evening. I feel slightly exhausted and I can feel that it is hurting my go-getter mindset. I will be blocking out tomorrow evening to properly rest, so I can continue to make positive impact in this world.
