"I bow to rid myself of arrogance."
I managed to sneak a journalling session while travelling. This should prove that your routine, especially regards to this challenge, can be done regardless of your circumstances. I even did a quick workout session with my family.

The most meaningful part of the day was meeting the Buddhist monk. As some of you may already know, this 108 challenge was inspired by Korean Buddhism's method of praying - 108 bow. Lately my life had been full of happiness (this does not necessarily mean life was 'easy' or I had 'fun'). I thought a lot had to do with some of Buddhist teachings, so I asked the monk for a lot of explanations.
Some of the points that stood out for me are:
Buddhism focuses on the 'act', not the 'teachings'. One who acts on one of the teachings is far better than the one who knows over 80 thousand teachings.
Buddhism is meant to 'explain things', not to make you 'believe things'.
When you act based on your intuitions (heart feelings, or subconscious mind), you earn good karma. When you act based on your judgement (i.e. you give some thoughts to how your action may be perceived or affect you), you build bad karma.
Journalling is great. You must pause and self-reflect. Writing a journal is an example. You take time to understand your actions and thoughts, and create positive energy around them (i.e. be thankful and be satisfied).
PRO tip - try writing based on your learnings or realizations versus simply describing 'what happened' during the day. If you practice being gracious of your daily experiences, you will be in a constant state of appreciation that is essential to achieving nirvana.
